Miss Bamikole Adeola Blessing is a self-trained ceramic artist whose practice blends traditional African pottery techniques with contemporary creative innovation. Although her academic background is outside ceramics, years of independent exploration, studio immersion, and research-led practice have shaped her into a distinctive voice within Nigeria’s growing ceramics space. Her work spans wheel throwing, hand-building, sculptural design, glazing, and the mindful integration of clay-based processes into wellness and therapeutic experiences.
She is the visionary convener of Nigeria’s first pottery conference focused on the intersection of art and therapy, a pioneering platform that highlights the emotional, cultural, and psychological power of clay.
